More Maxime DuquesneSunday technical quizz
Be the first to answer the question and win your silver wings !
Sorry for being so late. It almost should be called "Monday technical quizz" for this time... Some personal events are taking me a lot of time those days...So, here is the question, mainly for the piston engines users :
On the ground, what is the first thing you have to check before handle your propeller ?
-
-
Maxime DuquesneYes. You have to make sure that your magneto selector is on the "off" position, to avoid any unwanted starting, and a lot of injuries...
good answer. you deserve your silver wings !

More Maxime DuquesneSunday Technical quizz : Be the first to answer to the following question and win your silver wings !
Does a turn have an influence on the Stall Speed ?
if yes, say wich influence it has.-
-
Maxime DuquesneWow, I was just waiting for something like "during a turn, the stall speed increases". Firstly because I'm just a private pilot, so I didn't know the formula, and secondly because I just wanted to do a little safety warning / reminder, for all the pilots.
Anyway, sunday quizzes seem to be an occasion of learning for me too ! Thanks for your very complete answer.
And, yes, you can keep your gold wings !
cheers !

why?
Because if oil quantity is much low than the manual described or due some reason oil does not exist the engine will be ceased.
