  • Cultivating Aviation English Since 2007

    The Santa Monica Institute of Aviation English was founded by Faith Vietti, upon the certainty that providing training specific to the needs of those who are the most experienced in aviation to those who are first entering the field, would encourage the spirit of aviation where interpersonal and clear communication matters.

    Since 2007, The Santa Monica Institute has been the innovative leader promoting successful training in communication, accent modification, general and aviation English: preparation for ICAO Level 4 standards, JAA-EASA Examiner/Evaluator, FAA exam prep and interpersonal communication for multi-national crews.


    Delivery method is online, group, one on one, on-site and off-site. Training is tailored to fit your needs.

    The institute has pioneered many services including team building through volunteering at The Museum of Flying in Santa Monica; First Encounters, a program to encourage and support women and internationals in the field of aviation, science, and engineering.

    Short term training, workshops, and support for veteran aviation personnel to prepare them for the next step in their careers. Throughout our history, The Santa Monica Institute of Aviation English has provided highly experienced consultants to work hand-in-hand with client professionals to prepare and execute training to further the client's mission.

    We believe that the best training takes a holistic approach - starting with the client's strategic plan and goals, building upon it in order to prepare the client to be the most competent in communication, reaching higher levels of linguistic competence and social interactions. We offer the highest level of support to the client and go the extra mile to deliver quality service.
