What is « Aviation Club » ?

Aviation Club is a unique social network assembling all aviation enthusiasts, also proposing a large and diversified list of activities, such as discussion forums, a jobs center, an online shop, a blog, a library, and many links to other aviation related sites.

How do I register?

Simply click on REGISTER, choose your login name and password, and enter your real name. Then fill in the required information, notably your city, and save your profile. You may also upload a photo of yourself. Optionally you can add your occupation, website, skype address and more information about you. This is it.

Which level of “Wings” do I choose?

You are free to stay on the “Blue Wings” level, which is totally free, and gives access to our network, forum and online shopping. When you wish to gain a larger access, you may at discretion decide to upgrade to “Silver Wings” (valid for one year) or “Gold Wings” (valid forever), allowing you to navigate within all our proposed activities.

How do I upgrade?

Click on Upgrade Wings, and select your level. You will be automatically redirected to our Paypal secured payment system, allowing you to pay online with a credit card or through your own Paypal account.

May I invite all my friends?

Yes, all your friends may join us. They will enjoy contact with a large and diversified community of aviation fans, willing to share their passion with veterans of the Wild Blue, or simply newcomers…

What is the difference between a “follower” and a “friend”?

When you browse through the members directory, you may decide to “start following” someone whose profile is of interest to you. This person will be notified that you are following them, and they may in turn read your profile and decide to follow you too. Two people who follow each other are called “friends” on the social network. On your personal dashboard you have quick access to your friends, your followers and the persons you are following. Of course you may decide to stop receiving news from someone at any time: simply select “Stop following” on this person's profile

May I edit a story on the BLOG?

No this is not possible, unless you are elected to be one of our editors. If you wish to write articles on our blog, just contact us, and explain the reasons why you would like to participate.

May I participate to the FORUMS?

Of course. Just choose one of the chapters in the forums, and start a new topic. Or post a comment on one of the topics under discussion.

How do I reach the JOBS section?

To read the full job offers, as well as to register your C.V. online, you need to be a “Silver Wings” or “Gold Wings” member. Blue Wings members only have access to titles.

How do I purchase an item offered in the SHOPPING section?

Click on SHOPPING then select the good(s) you want to purchase. Once you have done so, confirm your selection and you will be automatically redirected to our secured online Paypal payment system.
